Unlockable Officers [ ] All characters may be unlocked on any difficulty (Easy is the easiest to manage) but the mode must be in story mode (not free mode). If you want to use a character from another story, simply clear the story modes and you can use any unlocked officer in the cleared story (making free mode useless!). Note that on 2 player co-op, both players can quickly over-stack events and cause a foul-up on the sequencing. The best method is to have 1P do all the events while 2P addresses other issues (like keeping allies or the main camp alive).
