And now Repsol Honda’s team boss Puig has continued to stoke the flames of that rivalry by taking a swipe at Rossi, who will turn 40 next year.

Valentino Rossi aims for 10th World Championship. In 2014, he was runner up to a dominant Marquez, as the Spaniard won the first ten races of the season, Rossi finishing in a strong second place, 67-points behind Marquez.
“Valentino has been a terrific rider,” Puig told Spanish daily La Vanguardia. “He has all of my respect. “At his age [39], he still has the desire, the talent to go fast and he doesn't accept not being able to win. “But he's having a hard time accepting that his moment is over. Sometimes the methods he uses are not the right ones. Valentino Rossi will turn 40 next year.
